Spring (Gimme A) Break.....Part 2

A friend of mine went to school with the guy that started SXSW Music festival. He's a gazillionaire, she says....I can see why. Everywhere in Austin, even in a coffee shop, there are musicians playing. It is so cool to stand back and hear all of the sounds of Austin. I truly love the art, the music, the active outdoorsy community that is all around the city. What a cool place! The motto of the city is "Keep Austin Weird"....and they do, see below. 
I like that Austin is weird, that people are grungy, tattooed, wear fishnets all over their body in public, wear pj's to breakfast, don't comb their hair, ride bikes everywhere, wear funky sneakers with a suit, have multi colored hair....it is EXACTLY those qualities that I really enjoy about Austin and the culture. It is nice to know that we are different, otherwise, this planet would be a very boring place to live!
