Had my girls NOT been jumping on the bed angels, making a wreck of Erin's room playing so nice and quiet, except for Lexie's short tantrum, that I shoved her into a small closet for lovingly asked her to behave.....perhaps you would have seen them on the show tonight. This is what they were wearing, OH, weren't they adorable, all girly and sweet...I will have to produce a home movie for you guys so you can see what talent these gals have. I mean, come on ABC, we got game!!! Actually, I did have a talk with the girls before we went in for the taping of the show to say, "the TV's are not for you to sing into, ok, please?....OH, and do not under any circumstances remove any of your clothing"
Some folks are asking "which one" of the Mom's I was on the show....I was the one that spoke into the boom mic, with the camera man breathing in my ear, with the production team observing how many times we blink our eyes a minute and said "She doesn't deserve it. No parent should have to go through this"
My, not even 15 seconds of fame. I am due about 7 more seconds. Maybe I will run for President or sing on American Idol, only, I can't sing...
Well, it is finally here, our friends, the Dostal Family, will be the "featured episode", tonight, on ABC's hit show, The SUPER NANNY.
This episode is very close to my heart. I had understood and observed the horrible struggles my friend Brenda had been going through for almost two years. I had personally witnessed some of the actions that her son, Zachary, had taken against his Mom, Brenda, and his sister, Erin.
Brenda is a very good Mom, a good friend, a wonderful woman and I am proud of her for taking this step, as challenging or humbling as it was for her, to make a difference in her son's life, her life and the life of her family. Can you imagine having your struggles displayed for millions of viewers? I cannot imagine what today must feel like for Brenda. I know she must be nervous, anxious and thrilled.
How do we play into this, you say??? WELL, Brenda invited the girls and I to a playdate, on camera, during their filming of this episode. So, check it out tonight. See if you can spot our shoes, a glimpse of our hair, maybe a shot of our elbows, cuz, we were there, I promise!
No matter if you see us or not, we were there, we were.....
I hope you will watch our friends TRIUMPH, against all odds.

I am thankful for the experiences I have been privileged to have in my life. I have met some famous people and had some true "once in a lifetime" chances.
From hanging out all night with a famous jazz band, having dinner with a PGA player, being backstage with Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Nelly Furtado, literally running into Run DMC, a casual conversation with Hulk Hogan, to filming on the Super Nanny, each interaction was memorable and exciting!
Back in October, a friend of mine called and asked the girls and I to participate in a small playgroup on camera. We met with the producers of the show and signed all of the necessary legal documents.
We filmed for 2 hours with our friends, it was a blast. Although the situation was a challenge for our friends, the outcome was fantastic for them. It is quite a remarkable experience to see how a mega ABC hit is filmed and what the show goes through for one episode. 2 weeks of filming, people and camera's everywhere, that car, that famous cute little black car. Jo Frost is an authentic professional. Everything you see on the show is what actually happened, nothing is fabricated or staged, nothing. That is what makes this reality show so special. Ms. Frost takes her job and her reputation in the industry very seriously, and with great pride.
Our friends episode of The Super Nanny (The Dostal Family) is scheduled to air on ABC, February 6th, 8 PM Central Time.
