For me, it is something about the bright orange pumpkins against the light honey colored hay, the hint of fall in the trees, crisp blue skies (we live in Texas) and all the festivities that surround it.....
This is a fabulous setting to capture some great shots.
While in the patch, we brushed a horse...
Hung out with some chicks....
Got A-HEAD on our baking....
Ran through the maze.....
Painted Pumpkins....
Climbed the great pumpkin wall....
Hiked through the hay to meet the Scarecrow....
Had lunch with the Queen of the Patch....
And last but not least, went on a hay ride....
AND FOUND OUT....that Pumpkins DO NOT grow on trees.

our trip to the pumpkin patch is next weekend - so i'm sure next week's BSM will be filled with pumpkins, too. i think i love the patch photos because the orange and fall colors all pop out so beautifully and how can you not get a bunch of great photos with beautiful girls and fun pumpkins!

I love it! Oh everyone is giving me pumpkin-patch envy! we're going to paint pumpkins too. That was a big hit last year.

It's a high of 91 all this week, doesn't make me feel like going to the pumpkin patch, yuk! Got my pumpkin at Target for $4.99. I'd pay big for those awesome pics you got though.
