And we're off....

This morning, the girls and I are off to the Miss Louisiana pageant. We are very excited to see my family and have a few days with our extended family at the pageant.

Please say a prayer for us to arrive safely and for everyone to be well during this exciting event in our lives.

I wanted to share a picture of my cousin's daughter, who is a contestant in the pageant. Victoria is a wonderful young lady and whatever happens, she is worthy of every bit of goodness. Bella will be escorting Victoria in the evening gown competition. We feel so blessed that Victoria chose Bella to participate in this wonderful event. EEEH, a former pageant girl myself, I have butterflies in my belly, a sudden desire to wear a fancy dress, glistening jewels and tease my hair up to the moon, I am SO excited!
