If diamonds are a girls BEST friend, then a refund on her diamonds would be a girls SECOND best friend, right?
DeBeers, one of the largest diamond suppliers, inflated diamond costs and had cornered the market for years. So, some folks somewhere got smart and there was a class action lawsuit filed against DeBeers, leaving $135 million "second best friends" for consumers to collect on.
If you bought a diamond ring, watch, earrings, ANYTHING that has diamonds on it between Jan 1, 1994 to March 31, 2006, you may qualify for a 32% refund on the cost of your purchase.

Shoot, you are ALOT nicer than me. Rob sent me this link a few weeks ago, but I selfishly kept it to myself. Not because I don't love my friends, but because the settlement is divided by every single person that files. :)
ReplyDeleteTherefore, the more people that know about it, the less I get back! So, hush yo' mouth girl!
Bummer the tiny dust particle hubby bought me isn't from there :( Would have loved to get my $5 dollars :-)
