
My girls aren't chicken noodle soup advocates. They prefer my version of winter soup, with cabbage, squash, carrots, peas and whole grain pasta. Throw in a pumpkin spice muffin and you have got yourself a recipe for happiness. Put the soup in a pink confetti bowl, sitting pretty on a ladybug plate, perched on top of a cupcake place mat and well, you have a haven for little sickling's to heal.
The girls said: "why are there seeds in our soup?"
Me: it is squash seeds.
Them:"Great, now we are going to grow squash trees in our bellies"
YUMMO...Can I have that recipe? Looks even better in that cute little bowl on top of that even cuter cupcake placemat! So glad I got those today!! WE had fun...you're the best :-)

ReplyDeleteWe have the glittery alligator ones with the heart in his teeth. I LOVE Target placemats. I was so excited that they had a boy appropriate Valentine choice! My kids would starve if I offered your delicious winter soup. They'd scarf that muffin down though!
