Bella got her ears pierced today. We were at the mall and she announces "I want to get my ears pierced".
I am suddenly nervous.
I am sweating, profusely. Win-Jenni suggests we take Bella into the store and let her see the earrings. SOLD! We are signed up, I am suddenly doing paperwork to authorize this event. I have been encouraging Bella to pierce her ears for a year and suddenly, I am feeling very faint!
They tell Bella to look straight ahead. Holden says "I can't look". I also followed the associates instructions, only looking straight ahead, not moving. I am so weak, leaning against the wall, sweating, feeling nauseous and starting to see stars, but I did keep my arm wrapped around Bella's waist. Sweet huh?
NO, I was holding myself up!
Anyhow, she did it! Brave little princess sat tall, focused straight ahead on Win-Jenni, which was my knight in shining armor, by the way. Thank you SO very much my friend. Anyhow, she got her little pink rhinestone daisy earrings, her purple sa-su and we skipped off into the sunset.

until Lexie wants her ears pierced, or worse, A TATTOO!!! Oh please Lord, let that be when she is 90.

Kathryn bugs me every morning to get "holes" when we are getting ready. In her ears, not mine, cuz I don't do needles!!
Oh Bella...how beautiful! Such a little lady. So you felt sick and lightheaded, when I took Emma, she cried and I laughed at her. What kind of mom am I?????
