Homework?

Yep, we got homework, last week. It was due the first day of school. Can you believe it? Homework before school starts? Ok, it was the BEST, most fun homework assignment. I would have graduated top in my class if all homework would have been like this.....


Decorate the first letter in your name. That was her assignment.

Here she is, "Princess Isabella", on her 2nd Day. She was in our room shortly after 6 AM....and while I adjusted quite well to her first day of Kindergarten (without shedding a single tear, completely at ease and happy for my daughter), I am NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES adjusting well to getting up an hour earlier than normal. Ugh! I asked Bella to go and make her bed, get dressed and brush her teeth....then, she could come back in our room...and "Oh", I said, "remember to put your pillows on your bed and brush your hair too" ( I thought that would buy me about 10-15 minutes more of sleep).

5 minutes, 5 stinkin' minutes later, there she stood, next to the bed, all dressed and bushy tailed!
If I could get ready and look that good in 5 minutes, I would sleep until 7:20.
