Thankful Thursday on Friday with Flair

Well, it wouldn't be a holiday without some excitement, right?

This morning we left our house early to get food for brunch, our BBQ and coffee, we NEEDED coffee.

Anyhow, not long after we were in Target, we get a phone call....seems these people are in our house...trying to get OUT....

Yep, they were up to their shenanigans....trying to get out of the house to go for a morning walk. They did it to themselves, they set the alarm after we had disarmed it. Haha- Then, when the sirens went off and the security company called them for the pass code, well, they just expected us to run right downstairs and fix the problem....only, we weren't home. So, the dispatcher called our cell phones to ask if we still wanted the police sent to our house. After thinking about it, giggling for a second, we said, NAAH!

Nothing like celebrating "Independence Day" locked down in someone else's house!

Happy 4th everyone. Hope you celebrated with people that you love, and I also hope you remembered our troops today, as they stand in the front lines of our wonderful country, fighting for our rights to remain FREE!

For my "THANKFUL THURSDAY" (on Friday) post:
I am thankful for house alarms that do their job in keeping us "aware" and I am grateful for our troops that fight to keep us safe. I am also thankful for the families that stand behind our military, their job must be equally challenging....
