Meet Niko.
Bella and Niko met at preschool in December. Niko is very secure with his boyhood. He likes Tinkerbell better than Peter Pan, he can really fly (but informed Bella that he only flies at night), he likes spinach because it makes him strong like Popeye and he prefers steak over chicken. AND, he doesn't mind wearing wings, pink or purple, because with our without them...he can fly.
This was our play date:
Bella and Niko played house. Niko said, "Bella, you be the Mommy"...haha- After playing house for 10 minutes..
Bella says: I can't be married to you Niko, I have a boyfriend.
(Niko was in SHOCK.)
He says: But, I thought I was your boyfriend.
Bella says: No, Jacob is, but that is ok, you are still my friend.
He says: But, I thought "I" was your boyfriend.
Bella says: No, Jacob is, but that's ok, if you are really sad, you can be my boyfriend too, except that I am still going to marry Jacob.
He says: Oh.
Tim and I were cracking up because Niko was really heartbroken. It was very sad, and hilarious. Oh well, at least she is honest! You go girl....
Seems earlier and earlier that our kiddos have "significant others." Adam has a couple of his own. sigh. Kids are such players these days!! haha.
ReplyDeleteI'm not even sure I knew what a boy was until I was 13... ok... so I knew... but you know what I mean. ;)
Oh,no! Look out, it's only just beginning.
ReplyDeleteHow could my kid be SO lucky to land a girl like Bella?? The funny thing is, I'm actually proud! Should I be proud or is that just weird??!
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute! I am sure that Niko's Dad would just love seeing his little boy with fairy wings!
ReplyDeleteOutside of his older girlfriends, Harrison loves Tinkerbell, too.
ReplyDeleteahh that's so cute! don't let it go too fast though. they both are so cute, Jacob's luck (lol). by the way your clothes are cute, good photo's too.
