What's Missing?

AH, YES, a new post, ME, um, stories.

Well, it has been a C.R.A.Z.Y. month so far. Lots of loose ends to wrap up, like school, soccer, vacation plans, planning summer activities, warranty issues getting (I PRAY) wrapped up and so on. If I run any faster, I might catch myself going and pinch my own rear end!

T-bone has been working late hours, long days and it has been really exhausting for us all. We just learned that T-bone will be working on Sundays starting in June, but the good news is that he will be off on Fridays. It will be a big change for him and an adjustment for us...Change is good, change is good, change is good.

We leave for our family vacation in just a few weeks and then the world wind of events continue into June. We have 3 weeks that the girls and I will be on the road for one thing or another. With gas prices soaring in rocket speeds, we may be riding our bikes to our destinations...Pedal faster girls, only 5 more hours and we will be there!

I paid $17 for 3.5 gallons of gasoline today. Seriously? We can send a man to the moon, create a child in a test tube, clone a cow, but we can't make a car run on something other than gasoline....MONOPOLY!
I love my SUV, but honestly, I may just have to buy a moped with one of those little side caddies.

  1. I couldn't agree more. It was almost $100 to fill up my tank the other day. I actually decided NOT to go somewhere based on how much gas it would take. But, I did read an article about the price of gas around the world. The U.S. is the 127th cheapest. Most places in Europe are far into the $8.00 a gallon range. Anyway, sorry I was so rushed on the phone yesterday. I was right in the middle of major chaos time with the boys. We're so excited for you guys to come!!
