Kindness

There was a homeless man smoking outside the door of McDonald's when we walked in, last night. He walked inside shortly after us, sat alone inside the restaurant. With a drink in his hand and his backpack, filled with his belongings, his bed, his house, his clothing, his life. It made me thankful that I have so many blessings in my life, none of which would fit into a backpack.

While eating our dinner, our hearts remained heavy for this man. T-bone walked over to him and asked if we could buy him something to eat. He said "It couldn't have come at a better time, I am starving".

I fought back tears.

It is TRULY the smallest action that make the biggest difference in one person's life. I am proud of T-bone for helping another human being. He even hands the homeless folks bottled water when he sees them on the side of the road.

It takes a very big person to do a very small deed.
