Girls Weekend Starts TOMORROW

T'was the week before Girls Weekend and all through the town,

I was shopping for new jeans that don't make my butt frown.

I wore those new jeans with comfort and delight,

Everyone saw the sticker I was wearing, there on the right.

Now, here we are, the day before Girls Weekend, and all through the house
There is coughing, sneezing, crying and Disney Channel's Mickey Mouse.
Two girls that aren't feeling well, needing me every second of the day
I just want to pack, get out the door and be on my way.
A hot stone massage, adult conversation and a nice glass of wine,
Dinner that I did not cook AND nobody to WHINE.
My only wish, I pray and pray, is for my girls to get well on this very day
So that tomorrow, they can go to school and I can have a weekend away!


I posted about girls weekend and forgot all about being THANKFUL on Thursday. I mean, if nothing else, if no other moment in the week, if it ails you, aches your very bones, just be thankful for ONE day a week, on Thursday, okie dokie? And, if you forget, just come by and see me, I will remind you, and if I don't remember, then, we will hold hands and think about what it was we were supposed to remember on this day.
SO, I am thankful that tomorrow is Friday, and that on Saturday, I get to take all of my clothes off and have some freakishly hot guy, that is not my husband, rub, legally, all over my body with hot stones and medium to heavy pressure for 80 minutes, while listening to soft sounds of the environment and possibly waterfalls, all the while, making me need to pee.....
