Finally It's Friday

Well, it has been a themed kind o' week round here, so Finally, IT IS FRIDAY!!!

The work week is coming to a close, as is our first week back at school.
I would like to reminisce with you today about something that was a childhood hobby of mine....Before I tell you what it is, I am going to tell you that this might make your brain dance in circles, if you are around my age....OR it might just send your brain on a search only to come up empty handed, if you are a youngster...in which case, you probably aren't old enough to be reading this in the first place...So, go brush your teeth, practice your Hanna Montana lyrics and do your homework.

You guessed it, Shrinky Dinks! The girls and I made Shrinky Dinks Jewelry. We had such a blast coloring all these preprinted shapes, then laying them on our foiled cookie sheet, baking them and watching them curl up, then lay flat. We took them out of the oven, shaped them while they were still warm and then, they hardened into these little charming beauties.

Now, I need to challenge my brother in a game of Hide and Seek, play the telephone game, eat Fun Dip and make a pile of leaves to jump into.
Wasn't it fun being a kid?
