Eve of Christmas Eve Bonfire

The children's games were a riot. Particularly the "sock it to your parents" game. Flour filled socks and a little game of chase and whack your parents below the waist is a very appetizing game for children. The one time it is legal to hit your parents. The only rule? Don't hit the camera man....fortunately, that was me! In the end, my brother, the game leader, lost. Covered in flour, we had a blast watching the faces of the kids as they got to chase their parents and "sock it" to them. Lexie decided it would be fun for Nan-E to chase her. Good clean fun? It was for me...

The smell of wood burning in the air, the night glow radiating from a full moon. The crackling sounds, the flaming centerpiece is incredibly alluring, causing even the smallest child to pause to take a silent moment to gaze into the light blue, golden and fiery orange flames. The roaring flame welcomed Christmas carols. Bonfires are an engaging way to draw people together. Add smores to the mix and you have got yourself a party.

Merry Christmas Eve.
Oh, you better watch out, you better not cry, better not pout, I'm telling you why, Santa Claus is coming to town! Find out where he is right HERE
