Today, I wear the crown.
I don't know what it is...we had a great day yesterday. We had a blast at Lexie's cosmic bowling party, went out for dinner, Lexie crashed at 6:30 PM (the universe must have been out of whack)...
Woke up early today and went to 8 AM church. Then, we went to Lowe's and BJ's (like Sam's). It went down the tubes from there. I think I made a choice to wear the crown after we left Lowe's...I picked a fight with Tim, then said sorry, then picked another little one, just to satisfy my crown driven conscious.
Do you have those days? Where you choose to be GRUMPY and CRANKY?
I have no reason for it. Silly, really. The only way to get rid of it is to duke it out with my husband, then drink a mango margarita. Still looking at him like a "virtual" punching bag, however, starting to feel a little comical inside.
Tomorrow is MONDAY, my most favorite day of the week, my "Cinderella" day.....
You know, clean the castle, take orders from the princesses, make dinner for the prince and sleep on a soot and hay.... Can't freakin' wait!!!
I can usually track down my cranky days to how much sleep I've gotten recently and how full my schedule has been. Hope you have a great day, today! ;)
ReplyDeleteI had one of those days yesterday too! Mine was during breakfast time, sparked by my son's constant need to request particular foods AND bash the ones already made for him...Steve was a GEM and took the kids to Washoe Park while I got to STAY HOME ALONE for over 3 hours, so what if I was ironing and watching Harry Potter 2...I was ALONE! :) How rare is it to be alone in your own home? Usually you have to leave to get alone time... right? :) Try it! Oh...and thank you for shopping at Lowe's ma'am...have a nice day! hahahaha!
ReplyDeleteYou're entitled to it, Princess Cranky Pants! Is the "fairy" visiting or about to be? That's usually when my "dark side" tends to venture out. Plus, we can't be nice ALL the time because our better moments wouldn't stand out! HA!
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine that I teach with just emailed me to say that she was looking at my blog, went to your link and read this post about the cranky pants. She said, and I quote, "I think I love her!" HA! I told her that you're one of a kind and we sure do miss ya round these parts! :)
