By popular demand, here is the recipe for one of my favorite creations...
Go forth, make this yummy dish, even if you despise meatloaf....you can thank me later cuz your kids will eat it!
CREAMY Garlic Meatloaf
1.5 lbs. ground sirloin
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 yellow onion
1 loaf of roasted garlic bread (pull the soft middle of the bread out and rub between your hands to make bread crumbs)
1 egg
1 cup italian style bread crumbs or ritz crackers
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
Take 1/2 can of mushroom soup (set other 1/2 of soup aside), 1 egg, the garlic bread crumbs and mix in the blender. Chop onion in small chunks. Put the sirloin in a bowl and add the blended ingredients and onion, mix well by hand. Add the seasoning and Worcestershire sauce, mix. Add italian style bread crumbs and fold over meat.
Make 3 inch wide loaves about 1 inch deep on a cookie sheet...
Bake 350* UNCOVERED for 55 minutes, cover top of loaves with remaining soup mix and bake an additional 10 minutes. You may broil the loaves for a more browned meatloaf...
Serve with Ketchup or over garlic mashed potatoes...
(I tried to take a picture of the WHOLE LOAF, but my family LOVES this dish...so, the rest is history)
Yum! Can you just next day air this plate to me? I guess you can call this dish "this ain't yo mama's meatloaf!"
