That Tim likes to shop. He wanted to run to the Polo Store to exchange a shirt he bought last summer that was mismarked a size too big, with no receipt, and they totally exchanged it. Are you kidding me? They would have been like "maam, um, yeah, like this shirt is so last season, so we are going to have to like say, uh, wear it with a belt, as a dress, hehe, yeah, that will look totally smashin, MAAM"
Tim HAD to have these swim suits for the girls.
What a good Daddy!
I think the only MAN I know who has the same "shopping ability" that Tim has is Johnny. Strangely enough, neither of them have any gay tendencies...well, one of them makes gorgeous flower arrangements, but I won't name names..really I won't, don't ask me. Cuz, I won't tell you, even if you email me, I won't, nope, not gonna do it.
Side note worthy: Lexie potty trained herself about a month ago. After a week of 20 minute timer attempts, I said, forget it...she will do it when she is ready. We told her once she wore big girl panties, she could get her ears pierced....I thought she would forget. Dang it, that iron clad memory! She trained herself the week we were leaving for Louisiana.
At the start of our shopping extravaganza... Tim says "Hey, Lexie, you want to get your ears pierced right now?"...Lexie says "YES!!!", so, I passed out.
While I was taking a carpet nap, Lexie tried to persuade Tim into getting the nice large GOLD BALL earrings. Thankfully, he wasn't fond of the Destiny's Child go go-ld balls. Her second and very much approved choice was the daisy rhinestone one's! I woke up to this darling BIG GIRL with adorable "bling bling" on her ears and a grape lollipop shoved in my mouth...MY BABY GIRL is officially a BIG GIRL.
Oh, oh no, feeling woozy again.....oh, geez. Somebody get me a cold rag.
Here is my baby girl. Mama is so proud of you!

Wow! Great job Lexi!! Could you come over and tell your friend Kathryn how much fun it is to go potty?
ReplyDeleteThat cracks me up, becuase Rob goes shopping once a season at ONE store--Macy's. He stocks up for the season and is done in about an hour. I can't believe Lexie is ptty trained & has her ears pierced!
ReplyDeleteI would love to go shopping and buy even half as many clothes! Maybe after we close on our house. Way to go on the potty training, Lexie! Love the BIG girl earrings!
