Washing One's Mouth Out With Soap

An effective means to end swearing, spitting or whatever other UN-Godly behavioral issue one might have with one's child....washing their mouth out with soap.

It works!
I have tried it on my very own little offspring.
I told my brother, recently, about this form of gentle let's say TORTURE one can impose on their offspring.
I said, lather it up in your hand and put the foam in their mouth. No drink or food for 5 minutes, "That'll be the end all of that problem" I said.

Well, today, I inflicted this gentle torture onto myself. BY ACCIDENT OF COURSE.
I always wash my apples with soap. It gets the wax, bugs, hand prints, bacteria or whatever off of the skin.
Apparently, I didn't rinse too well.

Gagging, spitting, vigorous washing of my tongue and gagging some more....
I ate a bag of Robin Eggs to try and rid myself of the taste. It's still here.
Now I KNOW, first hand, why it is such an effective means to end that naughty behavior...
IT IS NASTY, darn it all! Hey, I am not swearing...NEVER AGAIN.
(see, it works)
