We spent the past week in Houston and it was rainy, wet, COLD and at times, icy. We had a blast with friends this week and had a really hard time leaving, literally. We went to return our rental car and they wouldn't let Sarah follow me into the garage. I had to drive 1/2 way across a parking garage, check my car in, lug a car seat, 2 suitcases, a large duffel bag, my back pack, purse and Lexie all the way across the lot. The NATIONAL car rental agent was very rude when I asked for help...She told me that Sarah was not allowed in the parking garage and I said I needed help, her response??? "I don't know what to tell you.."
So, I put on my WONDER WOMAN panties and hauled us across the lot. Graciously greeted by Sarah, while Bella and Ashton were busy eating french fries that they found from yesterday's drive thru trek...haha-
We made it to the gate with 10 minutes before takeoff. Note to self: Houston airport takes 40 minutes to walk with small children.
I felt blinded by the sun when we landed, as my eyes had not seen sunshine for a week. We crashed out when we got home and Bella, in keeping with our week of sleep arrangements, fell asleep on my bedroom floor. More to come about our trip very soon......We are off to Disney for the day tomorrow! Anyone seen my super mom panties???
